Be* or not to BE

Having had an email recently from my ISP Bethere entitled,

BE’s had a makeover” and inside the email was “Yes, that’s right, we’ve got a new look and feel. Check it out”

So as you can imagine i was even more excited than when i won £10 on the lottery last week, in anticipation i went and made myself a cup of coffee got comfortable and clicked the link in the email inviting me to look but it just so happens i was taking a sip of my boiling hot coffee as the spanking brand new “BE” website opened and nearly choked on it, my excitement receded quicker than my hair did ten years back.

My first reaction was that i was going to be redirected in 3 seconds to a page with big words flashing up saying “Just a joke” but no indeed it was what “BE” called their “New look and feel”.

Now i know that what the website looks like makes no difference to the service whatsoever and really makes no difference to me what it looks like as i don’t visit it much if i do it’s to the Be forum which has had no new “look and feel” :-)

So my first thought was to go to the forum and and check out what others had to say about it, the feed back was not good in fact i have never seen so many responses and posts on the subject condemning the new look website, there was also a long thread on Thinkbroadband in the Be forum there.

Be’s response was that they are aware of what people think of it and one response was a “few” don’t like it or words to that effect :shock: , in all fairness to Be they have said that they will be taking on board customers opinions and will see what changes they can make to the site to make it more appealing lol.

I’m sure realistically it won’t effect existing customers, not sure about potentially new customers though seeing a site that looks like someone using Mr Site Takeaway beginner.

Anyway humour aside at the end of the day i cannot fault Be’s service over the last two and a half years that i have been with them and i’m sure of course it will continue.

Be* or not to BE

I’ll get me coat—->
